Calling all collectors, purveyors, antique and vintage lovers, and treasure‑seekers! The last weekend in June is always a special one in Hopkins County. During the Annual Highway 41 Yard Sale, treasures abound for two full days along Highway 41, offering 150 miles of shopping, snacking, and sightseeing through Western Kentucky across Henderson, Webster, Hopkins, Christian, and Todd Counties.

In conjunction with the Highway 41 Yard Sale, the West Kentucky Antique & Vintage Market invites shoppers to explore 18,000 square feet of curated antique and vintage finds from a variety of vendors. Discover vintage advertising, collectibles, fine antiques, country store items, furniture, glassware, home décor, primitives, and one‑of‑a‑kind pieces. The event is held at the West Kentucky Archery Complex in Madisonville, right in the heart of Hopkins County near Highway 41.

Many local stores and restaurants will also have event specials and sales!

This family-friendly event will feature the Christmas Tree Lighting in front of the Historic Courthouse. Join community leaders as they light the tree and kick off the holiday season! Enjoy the classical sound of a local brass ensemble or join the carolers and sing along to your favorite Christmas tune!

Other activities scheduled for that evening include fresh greenery & wreath making, free balloon twisting, a stilt walker, free popcorn, and more! The City of Madisonville will also have several free photo-ops set up throughout town.

Return to Bethlehem Starts the second weekend in December

Remember the reason for the season as you step back in time to Bethlehem on the evening of Christ’s birth during this walk through drama. Reenactors portray shopkeepers, families, soldiers, prisoners, and others involved in the daily activities of life in ancient Israel. Experience the place, the sounds, the smells and the anticipation of the town’s people as they go about the city selling their wares, tending their animals, and rearing their families. Admission is free; offerings are accepted. Large groups are welcome and encouraged to call ahead. Enjoy live music in the Sanctuary as you wait your turn to make the journey. First Baptist Church is located at 246 North Main St in Madisonville.
