When Santa visits our park he spreads holiday cheer everywhere. Come enjoy the festivities. $2 pictures with Santa in the lodge lobby! The Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park naturalist will lead a free hike on the first Saturday of each month. Winter hikes will focus on rock formations, sunsets, and landscapes glistening with ice and snow. The Madisonville Community Chorus will present the 58th annual production of George Frideric Handel's "Messiah."
