Tricia joined the Hopkins County Tourist & Convention Commission as Executive Director in January, 2007 following a lengthy career in retail management. Originally from London, KY, Tricia graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Retail Merchandising and graduated from Southeast Tourism Society Marketing College in 2010. She is a past Board Chair of the Kentucky Travel Industry Association and a past president of the Kentucky Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus.

Colbi Ferguson

Colbi serves as the Director of Communications for the Hopkins County Tourist & Convention Commission. She has worked in the tourism industry since 2018 and joined HCTCC in September 2021, bringing a strong background in tourism and marketing. Originally from Winchester, Kentucky, Colbi is a 2016 graduate of Murray State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Public Relations with a minor in political science. She also graduated from Southeast Tourism Society Marketing College in 2025. In addition to her role at HCTCC, Colbi owns and operates Blossom Hill Flower Farm and Ferguson’s Finds.

Beth Newman

Beth joined the Hopkins County Tourist & Convention Commission in February 2025 as a Communications Assistant. Beth brings regional knowledge and a strong academic foundation, holding both Bachelor of Science and Master’s degrees from the University of Kentucky. Through the Southeast Tourism Society Marketing College program, she earned her Tourism Marketing Professional (TMP) certification in 2012.

Her tourism career began in Central Kentucky at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. Over the past decade, Beth has contributed her skills to multiple tourism commissions in the Bluegrass, Blues and BBQ region.

Outside of her role with the Commission, Beth and her husband reside in Greenville, KY with two incredible children. She is faithful in her church and enjoys time with family and friends.
