The Hopkins County Tourist & Convention Commission is the official destination marketing organization (DMO) of Madisonville & Hopkins County. The Tourism Commission exists to enhance, promote, and market the Hopkins County area on a year-round basis as a destination for visitors, conventions, meetings, and special events.

The Hopkins County Tourist & Convention Commission is a quasi-governmental organization, funded by the Transient Room Tax levied on hotel, motel, and bed & breakfast accommodations and Restaurant Tax levied on eating establishments in the city of Madisonville.
