The Glema Center and the MCC Lions Club Present Glitter, Glisten, and Glow
The Glema Center and the MCC Lions Club are once again partnering to present “Glitter, Glisten, and Glow,” a sparkling collection of Christmas trees and wreaths each creatively decorated by members of local organizations.
Groups interested in decorating a tree or wreath as part of this exhibit can learn more and complete an application by contacting Krista Shaw at krista.shaw@kctcs.edu.
The display will be lighting up the Anne P. Baker Gallery December 3 through 18, providing a festive atmosphere as the Glema Center hosts a variety of seasonal events including The Children’s Nutcracker, the MCC Singers Community Christmas Concert, choir and band performances by MNHHS and JMMS students, and the YMCA Dance Christmas Showcase. Visitors will be invited to vote for their favorites throughout the month, and prizes will be announced on the Glema’s social media pages and via email.
The Anne P. Baker Gallery is located inside the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts on the campus of
Madisonville Community College. The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with
extended hours on Glema Center event days. Gallery admission is free. For more information regarding
this exhibit, visit GlemaCenter.org or contact Toby Roberts at 270-821-2787 or Toby.Roberts@kctcs.edu.
