William Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew

Bring a lawn chair and join us at Madisonville City Park on Saturday, September 12, at 2 p.m. for William Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew, presented by Cambridge American Stage Tour.

NowTaming of the shrew in its sixteenth year, Cambridge University’s largest international tour show has been performing to packed houses and critical acclaim since 2000. Each September, Cambridge’s most talented actors, directors, designers and technicians travel across the Atlantic to bring a Shakespeare play to colleges, high schools and professional theatres. This year’s production of The Taming of the Shrew will be directed by Kennedy Bloomer.

This is free admission event hosted by the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts in honor of their 25th season. This presentation is sponsored by the Miner Family Arts Endowment.
