Three Events, Two Unforgettable Weekends in Madisonville, KY!

Madisonville is gearing up for TWO action-packed weekends on June 27th-28th and July 4th-6th! With three exciting events lined up, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. From treasure hunting at the West KY Antique & Vintage Market to scoring deals at the Highway 41 Yardsale, and ending the days with live music at 4th Fest, these weekends promise to be great summer fun!

West KY Antique & Vintage Market

June 27 & 28

Calling all collectors, purveyors, and antique/vintage lovers! The West Kentucky Antique & Vintage Market will be held in Madisonville at the West Kentucky Archery Complex on June 27th and 28th. Hopkins County Tourist and Convention Commission is proud to host the event and showcase quality antique and vintage dealers from across the region.

 “There will be a wide variety of items available for shoppers, including vintage advertising, collectibles, fine antiques, country store items, vintage goods, glassware, and more,” said Colbi Ferguson, Hopkins County Tourist and Convention Commission Communications Director. 

“This event is being held in conjunction with the Annual Highway 41 Yard Sale,” said Tricia Noel, Hopkins County Tourist & Convention Commission Executive Director.  “The location of this Antique and Vintage Market falls right in the middle of the 150 – mile Highway 41 Sale providing a strategic opportunity for the vendors as well as shoppers.”

The West Kentucky Antique & Vintage Market will have booths setup both indoors and outdoors and will be free to the public. “With price points for all budgets, we invite you to come out and shop!” said Ferguson.

Held rain or shine. The event will take place from 8 am to 6 pm on Friday, June 27th and from 8 am – 3 pm on Saturday, June 28th. Highway 41 Yard Sale

June 27 & 28

Treasures abound for two full days along Highway 41! Make plans now to travel from north or south along Highway 41 to visit hundreds of booths selling anything that you can imagine! This annual event features countless vendors offering everything from household items and clothing to antiques and crafts. Experience 150 miles of shopping, snacking, and sightseeing through Western Kentucky along US Highway 41 in Henderson, Webster, Hopkins,  Christian and Todd Counties! Grab your shopping bags and hit the road for a day of thrifting, haggling, and uncovering hidden gems at every turn.

Hopkins County cities along the route include Hanson, Madisonville, Earlington, Mortons Gap, Nortonville, and Nebo. Residents who live on or own property along Highway 41 or 41-A are encouraged to hold sales.

“There’s no fee to participate,” Noel said. “All you have to do is set out tables and set up a yard sale.” People who don’t live along the route but wish to hold a sale should not set up in parking lots or other properties they don’t own without asking the owners’ permission.

4th Fest – Free Outdoor Concert Series

July 4-6

The City of Madisonville, Kentucky, is proud to announce the 4th Fest and Praise in the Park lineup at Madisonville City Park, July 4th through July 6th. The annual event is the largest 3-day outdoor music festival in the region. It is FREE to attend and will feature world-class concerts, food trucks, various vendors, a beer garden (Friday & Saturday only), and fun for the entire family. This year’s fireworks show will be on Friday, July 4th, after the concert.
