MADISONVILLE, KY. – The West Kentucky Antique & Vintage Market is introducing a new family-friendly activity aimed at inspiring the next generation of antique lovers and treasure hunters.
The new Jr. Picker Passport will debut at this year’s market, taking place June 26-27, 2026, at the West Kentucky Archery Complex in Madisonville. The interactive scavenger hunt encourages children to explore the market while searching for antiques, collectibles, and vintage treasures found throughout the show.
Participants will receive a passport featuring items commonly found at antique markets, including vintage postcards, vinyl records, Pyrex, quilts, advertising signs, and more. As they discover each item, they’ll check it off their passport and continue their hunt through the market. Once completed, participants can stop by the concession stand to receive an official Jr. Picker prize.
While the activity is designed to be fun, organizers hope it will accomplish something much bigger.
“One of the challenges facing the antique industry is introducing younger generations to the hobby,” said Colbi Ferguson, event organizer and antique dealer. “We wanted to create an experience that allows children to actively participate in the market, spark conversations between generations, and discover why these pieces of history are so special.”
Now in its fourth year, the West Kentucky Antique & Vintage Market has more than doubled in size since its inaugural event and continues to attract dealers and shoppers from across Kentucky and surrounding states. The 2026 market is officially at maximum capacity, featuring 18,000 square feet of antiques, vintage décor, furniture, collectibles, advertising, glassware, architectural salvage, primitives, and one-of-a-kind treasures.
Held during the popular Highway 41 Yard Sale weekend, the event also features concessions, free parking, and free admission.
The West Kentucky Antique & Vintage Market will be held rain or shine June 26 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and June 27 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the West Kentucky Archery Complex, 3100 Grapevine Road in Madisonville.
