West Kentucky Antique & Vintage Market Expands with New Jr. Picker Passport
Calling all collectors, purveyors, and antique/vintage lovers! The West Kentucky Antique & Vintage Market returns to Madisonville June 26-27 at the West Kentucky Archery Complex. Hosted by the Hopkins County Tourist & Convention Commission, the event features quality antique and vintage dealers from across Kentucky and the surrounding region. The event will take place from 8 am to 5 pm on Friday, June 26th and from 8 am to 3 pm on Saturday, June 27th.
Shoppers can browse 18,000 square feet filled with vintage advertising, collectibles, fine antiques, country store items, furniture, glassware, home décor, primitives, and one-of-a-kind treasures.
Now in its fourth year, the West Kentucky Antique & Vintage Market has more than doubled in size since its inaugural event and continues to attract dealers and shoppers from across the region.
“There will be treasures for every taste and budget,” said Colbi Ferguson, Communications Director for the Hopkins County Tourist & Convention Commission. “Whether you’re a serious collector or simply enjoy the thrill of discovering something unique, there will be plenty to explore.”
New this year, the market will introduce the Jr. Picker Passport, a scavenger hunt designed to engage younger visitors while exploring the show. Participants will receive a passport featuring items found throughout the market. As they discover each item, they’ll check it off their passport and continue their hunt before stopping by the concession stand to receive a Jr. Picker prize.
“We wanted to create an experience that allows children to actively participate in the market, spark conversations between generations, and inspire the next generation of collectors and antique enthusiasts,” said Ferguson, who serves as the event organizer and is an antique dealer herself. The new activity reflects the event’s continued growth and commitment to creating a welcoming experience for visitors of all ages.
The event is held during the Annual Highway 41 Yard Sale weekend. “The location of the market falls right in the middle of the 150-mile Highway 41 Yard Sale, creating a great opportunity for both vendors and shoppers,” said Tricia Noel, Executive Director of the Hopkins County Tourist & Convention Commission.
The West Kentucky Antique & Vintage Market will be held rain or shine from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, June 26, and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, at the West Kentucky Archery Complex, located at 3100 Grapevine Road in Madisonville. Admission and parking are free.
