The Woman’s Club of Madisonville is hosting their “Tree”mendous Christmas Auction on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024 at the Ballard Convention Center. Hors d’oeuvre buffet.
Doors open and silent auction beings at 5:30 pm. Live auction begins at 6:30 pm.

Printmaking Workshop with Jarrid Scott

Come have FUN while learning the art of printmaking and enjoy a complimentary cocktail to take the edge off. Adults 21 and up! Coffee, tea and treats will be available for purchase.
Get a brief history and understanding of what printmaking is! Leave with an understanding of tools and supplies. Create your own linocut (like a stamp) to take home and use again and again. Print on a range of paper and fabric (tote bag) that you will take home. Macaroni frame fridge display not included. Choose between 5 designs I will have pre-drawn that you will carve out and print, or draw your own design…. you, little creative, you!

Small Time Napoleon is the combination of new ideas and old sounds. Their interest in the jazz standards of the swing-era shine through in their voices, writing, and playing, while their ear for new sounds and ideas constantly drives them forward. The product of this pairing is what Kyle Ware of Insider Louisville has called “a mad science blend of western swing, hot jazz and folk.”
