Join A & K  for their 3rd Annual Greenhouse Open House & Vendor Market on April 26-27 from 9 am to 5 pm! Their greenhouse is full of annuals, perennials, vegetables, ferns, herbs, flower-hanging baskets, strawberry plants, and more! The event will also feature 2 food trucks and 15+ vendors!

Arbor Day Event

Festus Claybon Park

The Leadership Hopkins County Project Team- “Forces of Nature” is hosting an Arbor Day event on Friday, April 26th at Festus Clayborn Park! This event is open to the public so join them from 11 am to 2 pm. They will also welcome 3rd-5th graders from Pride Elementary for fun activities including crafts, games, snacks, and a special speech by the mayor.

Dancing in the Streets

April 26 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Downtown Dawson Springs

They will kick off the 3rd year of Dancing in the Streets in Dawson Springs at 6 pm. There will be food, fun, and awesome music. Make plans to join in the fun.

10th Annual Spring Lawn & Garden Fair

Hopkins County Extension Office

Join the Pennyroyal Master Gardener Association for their 10th Annual Spring Lawn & Garden Fair on April 27th! The event will take place at the Hopkins Co. Extension Office from 9 am – 2 pm.

Adult Spelling Bee Competition

Coffee & Tunes

Live music from local artists in a small, intimate, quaint event hall, in downtown historic Hanson. The featured artist is Landon Adams, a local country music artist. Doors open at 6 pm, $10 at the door, proceeds benefit the local Faith Riders ministry. Coffee, light food, and desserts are available. All are invited. Family friendly. Hosted by Pennyrile F.A.I.T.H Riders at CrossRoad Connection.

The MCC Singers Spring Concert

Glema Mahr Center for the Arts

Tickets: $8 general admission; Students & children: half-price

The MCC Singers Spring Concert is on Saturday, April 27, at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts. This season’s theme is “Feel the Spirit!” and the program is comprised of traditional spirituals arranged for a choral ensemble.
