From parades and ceremonies to special events and tributes, there are plenty of opportunities to show your gratitude to those who have served. We’ve rounded up local Veterans Day events so you can join in honoring the brave men and women who have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedom.
Veterans Free Spaghetti Lunch

Veterans Dinner

Women of the gap is providing a free meal for 25 veterans plus one guest. We will have someone there for a picture opportunity.
Veterans Salute to Service
November 9 @ 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm

Honoring our hometown heroes before the parade with this free event featuring: – Brothers Bar-B-Que sandwiches, chips, drinks, coffee & hot cocoa- Live patriotic music by Ray Ligon- A plaque presentation honoring a veteran- Special swag bags for veterans (free to the first 50 veterans)- A chance to nominate a hero for next year
Veterans Day Ceremony
November 9 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Veterans Memorial 445 N. Main St., Madisonville
Join the us as we celebrate veterans at the Veterans Memorial.The ceremony is open to the public and will be streamed on the City of Madisonville Facebook Page. *In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the Hopkins County Fiscal Court Room, 56 North Main St.
62nd Annual Veterans Parade

Join us for Kentucky’s Largest Veteran’s Day Parade on Nov. 9th, 2025 on Main Street in Madisonville, KY! The parade begins at 2 pm. Madisonville is proud to host its 62nd annual Veterans Parade, honoring the men and women who served our nation.
