Dawson Springs Christmas Open House
Join us in Dawson Springs on Sunday, November 17 from 1 - 5 pm to celebrate the holidays. Various shops will be open offering specials for the day. The Christmas Tree Lighting will take place at 5:30 and Santa will make an appearance at Redemption City from 2 - 4 pm. The Dawson Springs Museum will hold an open house on that day as well. The BBQ 5K Run/Walk is going down during the Dawson Springs BBQ Festival! This is a Timed Run with all results posted July 29. Overall Award to First M/F 5-39 yrs & 40 +yrs. Awards top three M/F Ages 5-9, 10-14, 15-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50,51-60, 61-70, 71+. The run begins at 7:30 am and goes through downtown Dawson Springs. Dawson Springs Independence Day Celebration
The City of Dawson Springs is sponsoring an Independence Day Celebration on Friday, July 2, featuring four bands downtown at the City Square. The evening gets started at 5:30pm and will include performances from Classic Country, The Ford Band, Silver Rain, and Barry Russell and the Silver Bullets. Concessions will be available and everyone is encouraged to bring a lawn chair.

Each year, the Dawson Springs, KY community comes together the fourth Friday in July to raise money for the city's Community Center. On Friday, July 23, from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., barbecue by the plate or the pound will be served at the Community Center.
