The 30th annual Christ the King “Old Fashioned” barbeque picnic is Saturday, September 20 from 4-8PM. Famous slow cooked pork, mutton, chicken, burgoo, and all the fixings. All you can eat is $12/adult $6/children 4-10 and Free for under 4 and carryout is available. Bulk carry-out meat is $9/pound We will have the traditional cake wheel, a beer garden, and free live entertainment on Stage from 4-8 PM with Six Toed Cousin beginning at 6PM. There will be hourly money giveaways beginning at 5PM with the grand prize drawing of $1,000 at 8PM. Other numerous basket raffles. Raffles will be given away beginning at 8PM. Numerous activities for kids including inflatable obstacle course, slide, bounce house, games, cotton candy, lemon shakeups, etc. Come early and plan to spend the evening! Chrysler Test Drive event will be held where every test drive results in a donation to Christ the King.

Sign-ups for the 4th annual 5K “Porker”/Color Run. Registration will be at 7:30AM with the run beginning at 8:30AM. Cost is $25 and includes a t-shirt. The entry fee for the kids 1 mile run or piglet dash is $15 and includes t-shirt. There will be various age classes for
