The Crowded House is excited to bring Oktoberfest back to downtown Madisonville for its fourth year on Saturday, September 26. This celebration of Bavarian culture will feature live music, delicious food, local brews, local makers & shops, and family‑friendly activities from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Three Kentucky craft breweries will be featured at this year’s event, including Brew Bridge, Dry Grounds Brewing Company and Madisonville’s own Tradewater Brewing Company. Each brewery will be on-site, offering a variety of craft beers from traditional German-style lagers to locally crafted ales.
New this year, The Bard Distillery and Purple Toad Winery will join the festivities, bringing Kentucky spirits and wines to Oktoberfest.
German food fans can enjoy The Crowded House’s legendary pretzels, classic bratwursts and other house favorites, along with a bar inside during the event. Additional food vendors will also offer festival favorites such as lemon shake-ups and more.
Local vendors will be offering permanent jewelry, face painting, a bloom bar and more. The musical line-up is stacked with local talent to keep the party going! Opening act, Monte Skelton takes the stage from 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm, followed by headliner the Mudd River Reunion from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
“Since Oktoberfest began in 2023, it’s been so much fun to watch it grow into a one of Madisonville’s favorite events” said Crowded House owner, Chris Devoto. “We are so excited for this year’s event and can’t wait to see everyone there!”
Admission to Madisonville Oktoberfest is free, and guests can purchase food, beverages, and merchandise from vendors on-site. Stations will be set for I.D. Verification; attendees must have a wristband to purchase beer. All alcoholic beverages must stay inside the marked areas. Well behaved pets on a leash are welcome!
The event will take place outdoors behind The Crowded House (26 W. Center St. Madisonville, KY). Limited seating will be available, so be sure to bring your lawn chairs or blankets!
