The 5th Annual Great Restaurant Race kicks off soon, and this year we’ve added something new to help bring the experience to life.

These are individuals who already do a great job supporting local businesses and showing up for the Hopkins County community. This group will be participating in the race throughout April, sharing their progress, and helping show just how easy and fun it is to take part. From saving receipts to checking off stops, they’ll be documenting the process along the way and encouraging others to join in.
But here’s the most important part… the Great Restaurant Race is not just for the crew! Anyone can participate.
The Race Crew is here to help guide, inspire, and promote the event. Whether you’ve followed along in past years or this is your first time hearing about it, you can jump in at any point during April.
How the Race Works
The concept is simple:
• Visit 12 different Hopkins County restaurants during April
• Save your receipts
• Upload them through the official submission form (https://visitmadisonvilleky.com/event/the-great-restaurant-race-2/)
Every finisher receives a prize, and one lucky participant will win Food for a Year- $50 gift cards to each of the 12 restaurants they submitted!
With 110 restaurants across Hopkins County, including over 55 locally owned eateries, there are plenty of options to build your list.

Throughout the month, you’ll see Race Crew members sharing updates, progress posts, and reminders across social media. Their goal is to make the race feel approachable, achievable, and fun for everyone. So follow along and when you’re ready, start the race!
