The Bard Distillery may be young, but it has deep roots. Set in the bones of a beautiful 1920’s school site, the distillery watches over the historic coal-mining town of Graham, in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. Operations started in December 2019, and the distillery already has a stable of prestigious award-winning spirits, including Cinder & Smoke Bourbon and their line of MUHLENBERG Whiskeys and Liqueurs. Founders Thomas & Kim Bard have a unique history: both worked for years in NASCAR (Kim was a driver), and Thomas, an engineer, attended school on the site that is now home to the distillery.
