Nortonville Lake is on Drakes Creek in Hopkins County, Kentucky and is used for recreation purposes, such as fishing. Kayaks, canoes, and non-gasoline motor boats are welcome on the lake. There is boat ramp access via High Street.
Nortonville Lake is man-made and was built in 1940. It has a normal surface area of 20 acres. Nortonville Lake Dam is of earthen construction. Its height is 17 feet with a length of 700 feet. Its capacity is 250 acre feet. Normal storage is 150 acre feet. It drains an area of 0.26 square miles.
