Bourbon has been produced on the grounds of the Green River Distillery in Western Kentucky since 1885. Opened in September 2016 after an extensive renovation, the Green River Distillery is the only distillery actively producing bourbon in Owensboro. A hard-hat tour and tasting is available at 11am and 2pm (CST) Monday through Friday, and Saturday 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. Guests may visit the Gift Shop between 10am and 3pm Monday through Friday, Saturday 10:00am to 4:00pm.
