Madisonville, Ky. – On Friday, February 27, 2026, Kentucky Sports Radio (KSR) is coming to Madisonville for a special live show at the Kentucky Sports Factory, and the entire community is invited to attend. KSR is one of Kentucky’s most popular sports talk shows, covering University of Kentucky athletics that connects fans across the state through engaging commentary, interviews, and community events.
The live broadcast will feature Drew Franklin, Madisonville native and KSR host, as he returns home with the KSR crew for an in-person show. “Madisonville will always be home for me, so getting to bring KSR there to the Kentucky Sports Factory is special,” Franklin said. “I can’t wait to see all of the people and places that I miss. We’re looking forward to a big crowd and a lot of fun, and I hope everyone comes out and hangs with us for the show.”
The morning starts with a pre-show at 8:00 a.m., followed by the live broadcast from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Admission is free, with one ticket available per person at the door. Each ticket makes you eligible for exciting door prizes, including a chance to win $10,000 in the Half Court Challenge, proudly sponsored by HUB International. Be sure to arrive early to enjoy breakfast and start your day with energy and excitement. The show will also be the official announcement of 4th Fest’s Friday and Saturday lineup, giving those in attendance the first look at what’s planned for Madisonville’s biggest summer event of the year.
The Kentucky Sports Radio live show is made possible through the support of the City of Madisonville, Hopkins County Fiscal Court, and the Hopkins County Tourist & Convention Commission. Their continued partnership brings exciting events like this to the community and highlights how gatherings like the KSR live show can bring people together while showcasing everything Madisonville has to offer. “We’re thrilled to host Kentucky Sports Radio Live at the Kentucky Sports Factory,” said Brad Long, Deputy City Administrator. “Events like this create a ton of excitement for sports fans while also bringing real energy and economic impact to our community. It’s a great example of how the Sports Factory is becoming a destination that showcases our city and brings people together.”
For the Kentucky Sports Factory, the event represents an opportunity to welcome new faces and create a memorable community experience.
“I’m really excited about KSR coming to the Kentucky Sports Factory and the opportunity it creates to bring people from all over the community into the facility who might not otherwise come,” said Drew Harrington, General Manager of the Kentucky Sports Factory. “It means a lot to have them here, and we truly appreciate them choosing to be part of something special in our area.”
Whether you’re a longtime KSR listener or just looking for a fun way to kick off your Friday, this free event offers something for everyone!
