Jazz pianist Loston Harris will perform in a Hancock Bank and Trust Coffeehouse presentation at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 pm.
Loston Harris’ piano playing has often been described as percussive and incredibly fluid. He works hard to continue a legacy by blending traditional jazz, gospel and blues with his own unique stylings. With early musical inspirations ranging from artists such as Stevie Wonder, Carole King and other notable pop and R&B bands, it was jazz that ultimately chose Loston; for him jazz is hip, serious, complex, improvisational and limitless.
Tickets are $20. Call 270-821-ARTS or visit glemacenter.org for more information.
