What could be more romantic than spending a crisp autumn evening in a charming historic downtown district, strolling along aged brick sidewalks by the light of the harvest moon? Join us from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, October 1 for Madisonville’s first pairing of fine arts and folk music, organized by the city’s Downtown Turnaround Partnership and the Hopkins County Art League.
Thirty local and regional artists will display and sell their works in galleries set up throughout downtown. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at various restaurants. Bring a lawn chair and listen to a free performance by world-renowned thumbstyle guitarist Eddie Pennington at 6:30 p.m.
