Join the Women’s Club of Madisonville for their second Mental Health Awareness Walk on May 16 at Mahr Park Arboretum. This casual stroll has no start of finish time and is not competitive.
Along the route, there are stations where club members will describe various coping skills that can be used by individuals to families to deal with mental health episodes. These stations include prayer, breathing exercises, meditation, mental grounding, gratitude, stretching, affirmation, and reflection. There will also be healthcare professionals who specialize in mental health on-site.
