Kentucky Proud farmers markets truly are where the best of Kentucky comes together. As Kentucky Proud member, the Hopkins County Farmers’ Market offers two locations to buy locally-grown produce. You can find us at the Danny Peyton Farmers Market Pavilion at Mahr Park along with another convenient location at Baptist Health. During the regular season, market vendors will set up based on their product availability.
The Hopkins County Farmers’ Market offers an array of different options starting from the best selection of locally grown and Kentucky Proud fresh vegetables and fruits, herbs, fresh eggs, dairy products/cheese, baked goods, cider (pasteurized), honey, maple syrup, jams and jellies, coffee (roasted in Hopkins County), canned goods, USDA certified meats, bedding plants, hay, straw, potted plants, cut or dried flowers, health/wellness/self-care items, and other handcrafted artisan goods all of which are made and/or grown right here in Hopkins County. We take great pride in what we have to offer!
All produce sold at the market is locally grown and the selection will depend on the season. For a quick reference guide to seasonal vegetables, the Kentucky Department of Agriculture has developed a Kentucky Proud Produce Availability chart.
We accept debit cards, Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Vouchers, and WIC Vouchers with select vendors
