Join us for an inspiring 2-day journey into the world of drawing. Learn the fundamentals of creating depth and realism through the art of value drawing.
What you will learn:
- Discover the power of shading and value in art
- Develop your observational skills
- Learn various techniques for rendering light and shadows
- Gain confidence in creating a complete still life drawing
Night 1:
Introduction to value and its importance in drawing, learning shading techniques, practice with simple objects and draw from a simple still life.
Night 2:
Set up a complex still life arrangement, practice drawing simple shapes for a warm up, apply knowledge from day 1 and guided assistance to complete your drawing.
This class will be held at Madisonville Community College in the Brown Badgett Tech. Ctr. located at 2000 College Drive in Madisonville on April 15th and April 16th from 5PM – 7PM. Beginners welcome, ages 14+ up.
