Each year, the Dawson Springs, KY community comes together in July to raise money for the city’s Community Center. On Friday, July 28, barbecue by the plate or the pound will be served at the Community Center. Dine-in service will be offered from 11 AM-6 PM and drive-thru service will be open from 11 AM-2 PM. The street fair will take place downtown from 6 PM-9 PM with live music, vendors, old-fashioned fair games, and more! The raffle drawing will be at 8:30 PM. NEW this year they will have a fireworks display at 9 PM to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee year! (The fireworks can be viewed from the downtown area.) 

The festivities continue on Saturday, July 29 with the 5K Race beginning at the Community Center at 7:30 AM. At 8 AM, the Golf Scramble kicks off at Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park, and from 8 AM-1 PM, the Cars and Coffee Car Show will be happening on the downtown square!
