Purchase your tickets now for a performance by Guy Penrod at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts on Saturday at 7 p.m. GRAMMY and GMA DOVE Award-winning recording artist Guy Penrod’s country styling has been applauded in both gospel and country formats. Penrod spent 14 years as the lead singer of the Gaither Vocal Band before launching a successful solo ministry.

Penrod has appeared on “The Grand Ole Opry” and on numerous country recordings. In 2011, he became a Texas Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee, and he has been inducted alongside the Gaither Vocal Band into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
