BIG MAD CHAIR PUMPKIN PATCH & CONTEST

MADISONVILLE, KY. – Carve out some fun this Halloween! Hopkins County Tourist and Convention Commission is proud to announce that the Big Mad Chair Pumpkin Patch is back and will feature a carving and painting contest this year! The patch will be a spooktacular display of painted pumpkins and jack o’ lanterns for everyone to enjoy. Find the perfect pumpkin, get creative with your carving or painting skills, and add your pumpkin to the Big Mad Chair Patch!

NEW THIS YEAR, Hopkins County Tourist and Convention Commission is proud to announce a pumpkin painting & jack o’ lantern contest! HCTCC will select one winner from each category- best painted pumpkin and best carved pumpkin. Winners will receive a $25 Hopkins County Chamber Check! This is a great activity for the whole family, business, or organization! To enter: carve or paint a pumpkin, place the pumpkin in the Big Mad Chair Patch at 110 South Main Street in Madisonville, take a photo and send it via messenger to Hopkins County Tourist and Convention Commission on Facebook, or email the photo to [email protected]! All pumpkins must be placed by October 30th and left at the patch to be eligible to win. Winners will be announced on Monday, October 31st!

The Big Mad Chair will be a perfect photo op, decked out with stunning fall décor and pumpkins galore! You are invited to leave your carved pumpkins at the chair to be a part of this community event. Take a picture with your pumpkin and tag #ReadyAimFun or @visitmadisonvilleky for a chance to be featured on Hopkins County Tourist and Convention Commission’s social media!

Carve or paint your pumpkins! Place painted pumpkins any time from October 21st through October 30th. Carved pumpkins can be placed any time after October 23rd. Carved pumpkins will be illuminated on Halloween, October 31st, during Trick or Treat! Come out and see Madisonville’s talent on display at the Big Mad Chair Patch at Beard’s Park 110 South Main St. Madisonville, KY!
