Angela Primm will present “Spirituals: The Songs of Mahalia Jackson” in a Coffeehouse Series performance at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts on Saturday, January 30 at 7:30 pm.

Known for years as the most sought after studio singer in Nashville, Angela Primm has come into her own as a phenomenal featured performer garnering ovations wherever she sings.

Stepping into the spotlight meant that Angela had to step up to the recording arena for herself. In doing so, she chose to pay tribute to one of her heroines, Mahalia Jackson. Angela and the songs of Mahalia Jackson have been featured on stages around the world.
