Mark your calendars for the 49th Annual Veterans Parade to be held on Sunday, November 3, 2013 starting down Main Street at 2 PM in downtown Madisonville.  The theme for this year’s parade is “Honoring the Veterans Who Sacrificed!”, we are also honoring the 60th Anniversary of the Korean War.   For those who are interested in entering the parade, entry forms are available by calling  270-821-9161   There is no entry fee and all entries must have a military or patriotic theme.  Deadline to apply for entry is October 25, 2013.

An all veterans reception will be held on November 3 at the American Legion Post 6 in Madisonville.   Meet and greet will take place following the parade with finger foods, cash bar, music and dancing.  The public is welcome to attend.  Admission is free.
