Itโs a festive evening in Downtown Madisonville, where local shops become mini galleries, each hosting artisan pop-ups, holiday shopping, entertainment, and family-friendly activities. Itโs the perfect night to support small businesses and discover unique, handmade gifts for everyone on your list. Whether this is your first stroll or your favorite annual tradition, hereโs everything you need to know so you can sip, shop, and stroll with ease.

๐ฌ Is this event free?
Yes! The Mistletoe Art Stroll is completely free to attend, including carriage rides and most kidsโ activities. Shopping with local artisans and restaurants is optional but encouraged! There will be a couple of activities hosted by the businesses that will charge a small fee- but again, those are optional!
๐ฌ Will the event happen if it rains?
Yes. This event is rain or shine! Most activities and all artisans are indoors inside businesses.
Outdoor elements may be adjusted if severe weather occurs.
๐ฌ Are pets allowed?
Leashed, well-behaved pets are welcome outdoors but may not be permitted inside participating businesses. Please check with each business individually.
๐ฌ Where do I start the stroll?
Anywhere! The event is self-guided. Just look for โStroll Stopโ signs and map stations around downtown.
๐ฌ Do I need a ticket for carriage rides?
No ticket required. Rides are free and run continuously throughout the evening. We do anticipate a wait, and rides will end at 8 PM sharp, regardless of the line. We recommend being there well before 8 PM to ensure you can ride before the event concludes.
๐ฌ Is there something for kids?
Absolutely! Ornament decorating, carriage rides, festive windows, music, photo ops, and plenty of magic!

Public parking is available at:
- Main Street curb parking
- Additional side street parking
- City Hall Lot
- County Government Lot
- Railroad Street Parking
All are within easy walking distance. Handicap spaces are available in these areas as well.
Paid parking is located in the Parking Lot behind The Crowded House.
