Behind The Crowded House
Madisonville, Kentucky is gearing up for a celebration like no other as The Crowded House proudly announces the inaugural Oktoberfest. This highly anticipated outdoor event promises a day filled with Bavarian-inspired fun, regional brews, delectable food, captivating live music, and a vibrant atmosphere that will make Madisonville the place to be on Sept. 16th, 2023 from 5 PM-10:30 PM.
Regional Breweries: Raise your steins and savor the flavors of exceptional craft beers from some of the finest regional breweries in Western Kentucky. Beer enthusiasts will have the opportunity to sample a wide variety of brews, from traditional German-style lagers to innovative, locally crafted ales. Participating breweries include Brew Bridge, Hopkinsville Brewing Company, Henderson Brewing Company, Tradewater Brewing Company, and the Madisonville Community College Fermentation Science Program.
Culinary Delights: Foodies rejoice! The event will feature an array of mouthwatering dishes that perfectly complement the beer selection. From The Crowded House’s legendary pretzels to classic bratwursts and other delicious food, there’s something to satisfy every palate. The Crowded House will also be offering a full menu and bar inside during the event.
Local Vendors: Explore a marketplace of local vendors offering a shopping experience unlike any other. Featured businesses include Clements Jewelers, MadCity Wicks and Wine, Maggie’s Cakes & More, Sum’n Sweet, MadCity DIY Studio & Café, Evolve Nutrition and more! The West Kentucky Brewery Hop Trail will be giving away free pint glasses while supplies last and local businesses like Big City Market and Coffee Bar will also be offering extended hours to accommodate eventgoers!
Live Music: Get ready to dance the evening away with a fantastic lineup of live music acts that will keep the energy high throughout the event. Landon Adams will be taking the stage from 5:30 pm-7 pm and Muhlenberg County’s “181 South” will be on from 8 pm-10:30 pm!
Family-Friendly Fun: Madisonville Oktoberfest is a family-friendly event with activities for all ages.
Admission to Madisonville Oktoberfest is free, and guests can purchase food, beverages, and merchandise from vendors on-site. Stations will be set for I.D. Verification—Attendees must have a wristband to purchase beer. All alcoholic beverages must stay inside the marked areas.
The event will take place outdoors behind The Crowded House (26 W. Center St. Madisonville, KY). Limited seating will be available, so bring your lawn chairs or blankets!
