Located in Western Hopkins County in the community of Dalton, a century-old general store, originally Taylor’s General Store, was built in 1923 and served the community for about 50 years before closing in the 1970s. It is now home to Poppy & Clover, a mother and daughter owned store that specializes in soy candles, bath and body products, home décor, and other Kentucky-made goods.
