This free, family-friendly festival will be ‘a festival good for the taste buds, the ears, and the soul’ and hopes to draw bacon-enthusiasts, blues fans, and performing arts followers from near and far for the celebration.
Plans for the weekend include:
Oct 19 – Performances by blues artists Samantha Fish, Alonzo Pennington & Michael Goff, and others, food vendors, and a beer garden
Oct 20 – Performances by blues artists Jonny Lang, Boscoe France and others, the first performance of professional storyteller Jim Loucks’ newest story that he is currently working on developing during his stay as the first Artist in Residence at Mahr Park, food vendors, beer garden, kayak rentals, a ‘Piglets Party’ just for the kids, storytelling performances by other professional storytellers, an after-party in the Mahr Park Barn, and much more.
