A Night of Unity with special guest CeCe Winans

Plans for this night include performances by CeCe Winans, who has been named the "Best Selling Female Gospel Artist of All time," and a local community choir, a tribute to Martin Luther King Jr., interactive art projects, vendors, and more. 13h Annual BAJA 5k & 1.5 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Where: Baptist Health Fitness Formula, 950 Hospital Dr., Madisonville KY
The 5K run features a course through the Baptist Health Madisonville campus and through several Madisonville streets. The course is flat and fast. The fun run/walk begins at Baptist Health Fitness Formula and loops the Wellness Park. Men's and women's overall awards. Long-sleeved 5K race shirts to all paid entrants. Refreshments provided. 1st and 2nd place awards given in each age group. Water stations will be provided through-out the course. For more information call Kathy Edwards at 270-824-2023.

First Day Hike

Hikers will meet begin a 3.25 mile hike on the park’s Lake Trail. Wear proper clothing and bring your own water, snacks, and hiking stick. This hike is not recommended for children under the age of 5. Leashed dogs are welcome on the hike. Hiking sticks are available for purchase in the park’s gift shop. The hike is free and will last approximately two hours. To register for the hike contact the park naturalist at rebeccae.clark@ky.gov or 1-800-325-1711.

United States Air Force Band of Mid America

the United States Air Force Band of Mid America Concert Band represents the professionalism and excellence found every day throughout the Air Force. This diverse, 45-piece ensemble's repertoire ranges from symphonic band masterworks, to traditional marches, to modern compositions, to pops and jazz. During a concert, you are likely to hear stirring works from contemporary composers as well as the familiar sounds of John Philip Sousa or Major Glenn Miller. the band also features talented vocal soloists, performing a wide variety of popular, classical, and patriotic selections.
